Fries: America vs. Europe
... I mean, I love fries as much as the next person, maybe even more. Hell, I'll eat a potato any day, any time, any where! I even eat ALL my fries before my wings when I go to Wing Stop or Buffalo Wild Wings. But watching this today really opened my eyes as to how we as Americans are viewed in terms of food. And we did it to ourselves. We are always SO excited about how much we can pile on a plate, consume in little time, smear with cheese, deep fry, or smother with chocolate...

So I decided t watch a lil TV this AM. This chef from Twisted Root Burgers is making fries with a twist. Italian, American n French. Ingredients for the Italian? Fries, fresh grated Parmesan cheese, truffle salt, fresh cut chives (I think). American? Fries, chilli, n whiz cheese (both chilli n cheese were in a pot, cooking. Fresh or not, processed). French? Fries, frozen blue cheese (grated)... didn't get the rest cuz they started talking. BUT, anything wrong with those recipes?? Yeah American Fries just screams heart attack! Only thing fresh was the fries..oh wait, it's been deep fried. Never mind. All others had light season you can see through.. Ours, not so much. And they were SO excited abt it too! "definitely American!" they say... #weneedachange.
Here are the recipes.

You tell me, which one will you eat? Personally, the Italian sounds way more appetizing out of the 3. I feel like I should CrossFit for about an hour before eating the American then run for about 1hr after... lol
